Emergency Dentistry Patient Journey
If you visit Frank Dental for an emergency dental procedure, this is what you can expect.
Step 1
Your dentist will conduct a detailed check-up and assessment of your teeth. X-rays will be taken to ensure that we do not cause further discomfort if your teeth are sensitive.
Step 2
To help you relief the pain or discomfort, sedation will be given to you. This can come in the form of Local Anaesthetic (LA) or nitrous oxide.
Emergency Dentistry Treatment Duration
The entire emergency dental treatment usually takes about 30 to 60 minutes.
The final duration is largely dependent on how critical and complex your dental situation is. In some cases such as that of tooth replacement with dental implants, it will not possible to complete dental treatment on the same day.
